Transaction size limits

Transaction size limits let you specify transaction sizes you want to allow for a given card or card group. If you set a range like $200 - $300, all transactions smaller or larger than that range will be declined. This is great for subscription payments where you don't want a merchant to charge you a different amount than you agreed to.

Utilization limits

These let you specify limits on how much can be spent on a card over a given period of time (day, week, month, quarter, total).

How to add per transaction and utilization limits to a CARD

  1. Go to the cards page

  2. Click on a card

  3. Click on "Edit card limit" on the bottom of the "Limits" section above "Transactions"

  4. Toggle the "Transaction range" or "Utilization" sections on

  5. Select the limits you'd like to add

  6. Click "Save changes"

How to add merchant and merchant category restrictions to a CARD GROUP

Visit the card groups page by:

  1. Clicking on "Cards" on the sidebar

  2. Clicking the "Groups" toggle on the right of the page

  3. Click on "Actions" on any card group, and then "Edit"

  4. Change any of the limits in that side panel and click "Save group".
