Introducing the Slash Chrome extension, designed to help you shop smarter with Slash. Chrome extensions are software programs installed right into your browser that can make your browsing experience with Google Chrome even better.
To get to the Chrome Web Store:
Open Google Chrome.
Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the browser.
Click on "More Tools" and then "Extensions".
In the bottom left corner, click on "Open Chrome Web Store".
This will take you to the Chrome Web Store, where you can search for “Slash” and download us right away. You can also use this link to download the Slash Chrome extension directly.
After installing the Slash Chrome extension, you will be prompted to log into your Slash account. You can log in from the extension, or from your Slash dashboard. You do not need to have the Slash website open as the extension will stay logged in for 24 hours. The extension has 2 tabs, Transactions and Cards, and you are able to flip between your business and personal account by using the icon in the top left.
The transactions tab shows all your recent transactions for the account you are currently browsing.
The cards tab will show all your current virtual cards, click each one to reveal the card details. You are also able to perform many card management actions, such as creating, deleting, pausing and un-pausing cards. Select the card(s) to manage by clicking the checkbox(es) to the left, or select all cards by clicking the checkbox in the header row. Once one or more cards is selected you will see the option appear to pause, unpause and delete the selected cards. To create a card, click Add at the top of the extension.
The best part of this new extension? Any time you get to the checkout page of any website, a Slash button will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen. Click on it to browse your cards. Clicking on a card in this list will automatically fill in all the details needed on the screen to make your purchase.
