What happens to my virtual cards when I upgrade/downgrade?

  • Upgrading will increase the limit of your cards, & are available for creation immediately.

  • Downgrading will inactivate the oldest cards exceeding your downgraded plan's card limit.

For example: if you have 100 cards on the Pro plan and you downgrade to the Free plan (limit of 50 cards), your oldest 50 cards will be deactivated automatically.

  • Please delete the unwanted cards prior to the downgrade if you would like to keep specific cards.

  • Please note that deleted cards cannot be brought back, but automatically deactivated cards can. More information on card status can be found here.

What about stacked cards I've earned?

  • Any accumulated stacked cards will be reset post up/downgrade.

When does an upgrade & downgrade occur?

  • Upgrades occur immediately

  • Downgrades will occur at the end of your current billing cycle

What happens to my SlashCash after I upgrade/downgrade?

  • Any transactions earning SlashCash prior to your upgrade/downgrade will remain at your prior plan's cashback rate.

  • Any transactions post upgrade/downgrade will be at your new plan's cashback rates.

For example: a Pro plan user upgrades in the middle of their billing period.

  • 1% cashback will be earned on eligible transactions from March 1 to March 15.

  • After upgrading, 1.75% cashback (first $20,000) will be earned on eligible transactions after March 15 to March 31.

More information on SlashCash can be found here.

When can I regenerate more cards?

Any Pro or Elite plan user can delete and regenerate up to 2x their plan limit (including stacked cards for Pro) on a rolling 30 day basis.

The rolling 30 days starts when a card is deleted, & expires 30 days later. It is also determined by the plan they are on at the time.

In this 30 day period a user can only have deleted and recreated 2x their plan amount: 200 for Pro or 1000 for Elite.

For example: If an Elite user downgrades to Pro within this 30 day period, their new limit will be 2x the Pro plan amount but they are still within the 30 days, so the previous deletions while on the Elite plan count towards the regeneration limit.

Cards must have been used (spent) at least once to be eligible for deletion.

Please note that deleted cards will be Closed and cannot be re-activated, but any refunds issued to these cards will still process.

More information on card statuses can be found here.
