The first step to getting started with Slash is to create your personal spending account. Your Slash account is an FDIC-insured* bank account, so therefore to sign up you will need:
Your Name
Your Email to use in multi-factor authentication and to log in
Your Date of Birth to verify age
Your Mailing Address for your Slash debit card
Your Phone Number to use in multi-factor authentication
Your SSN to verify identity
One form of government-issued ID to verify identity
Create Account
The first step to onboarding is to enter in your email address. This will also serve as your username once your account is created. A code will be sent to your email to verify your account.
Verify Identity
We will ask you now to go through a few steps to verify your identity. First, enter in your phone number and the code sent to that phone. We will then ask for your (or your parent/guardian’s) name, address and date of birth. Please ensure that the person entering in this information is over 18. We will also need a valid SSN and a piece of government issued United States identification for the person over 18. Find more information about our security policies here.
Add Income Details
Give us a little bit more information about your income and which payment platforms you use. This helps us better understand you and what you might need in a bank.
Business Details
We will start by asking you a few details about your business, including when you started and what your North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is. For more information about common NAICS codes, click here.
Choose Subscription
Choose from our many subscription tiers, ranging from free to $50 per month.
Connect Discord
To gain access to our members only community, join spending competitions and enter giveaways, connect your discord account.
Order Cards
After a review by our team, your account will be approved and ready to use! The final step in creating your Slash personal account is to order your debit card. Confirm your mailing address and click Order a Slash Debit Card.
